About Erin

I’ve always been curious about what makes life meaningful. I’ve come to see that the search itself, the returning again and again to that question shapes how we meet God, ourselves, and others in the world.

The uncertainty of not knowing how life will turn out, or why certain things happened the way they did can be completely overwhelming. But it is ultimately these questions that drew me into counseling work. Not because I can provide all the answers, but because I find purpose in holding space for people who want to explore their stories in deeper ways.

I’ve witnessed how people begin to live resilient, meaningful lives by encountering questions and hurts within supportive relationships. That conviction shapes everything I do and the way I grow a trusting relationship with each client.

I have earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) specializing in Pastoral Counseling and am a full-time Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MS) student. During my studies and practical experience, I became deeply unsettled by the reality of spiritual abuse and harm that often goes unaddressed in many Christian churches and communities. While the church can be a community of encouragement, it can also be a place of isolated confusion.

Because of this, my theological and clinical interest focus on addressing spiritual issues and the dysregulation it brings, along with the emotional grief and existential crisis that often follows. I desire to help people who are navigating how these experiences have distorted the ways they belong, behave, and understand their identity. The impact of spiritual harm and questioning is crucial to how I continue to grow as a counselor, as I seek to support clients in a process of healing inherent to the Gospel.

I make no promises that it will be easy or quick work, but I do promise to offer the fullness of my attentiveness, care, and humanity to your story.

If you are interested in working together, either in a counseling or consultation context, I would love to have a conversation with you!
